Michael Goro believes that quality education extends beyond the classroom. Throughout his leadership journey, he has focused on building strong partnerships with government agencies, educational institutions, industry, and international universities to create meaningful opportunities for Papua New Guinean students.

Recognising that many young people aspire to further their education and careers, he has worked to establish academic and training pathways that allow students to progress from technical and vocational education into higher qualifications, professional careers, and international study opportunities.

Under his leadership, HYTARC TVET College has collaborated with organisations such as the Papua New Guinea Youth Development Authority (YDA), the National Training Council (NTC), the TVET sector, government agencies, churches, private industry, and development partners to strengthen skills development and youth empowerment initiatives. HYTARC has also built international education partnerships, including agreements with Shafston International College (Australia) and Sharda University (India), providing Papua New Guinean students with pathways to internationally recognised qualifications and opportunities to continue their studies overseas.

These partnerships reflect Michael Goro's commitment to expanding educational access, improving graduate employability, and ensuring that Papua New Guineans can compete confidently in an increasingly global and technology-driven economy. Through collaboration, innovation, and a shared vision for lifelong learning, he continues to build bridges that connect students with new opportunities both within Papua New Guinea and internationally.
